Milwaukee Gymnast

Marvin Kimble’s travels as an elite gymnast and current member of the United States National Team have taken him far from his home in inner-city Milwaukee. And unconditional support from his dedicated mother has allowed Marvin to grow from a troubled beginner to a disciplined competitor, poising him for a shot at the Olympics. Watch as this Wisconsin athlete goes for the win.

Wrestling in Wisconsin

This weekend, teams from around the state will compete in the WIAA State Team Wrestling Competition. High school wrestling is a Wisconsin institution, and Kaukauna High School is perennially one of the top-ranked programs. Seth Jovaag spoke to the man in charge about his passion for the sport.

Judging Cheese:

It’s time for Wisconsin Life. It’s been an intense three days of cheese tasting for judges at the World Championship Cheese Contest. The event — held in Madison this year — attracted more than 25-hundred entries from 30 states and 24 countries. And, an international team of judges.

The event wraps up tonight in Madison with a final round of judging before a live audience.
